Im Tirtzu Supports the Judicial Reform. We are Fighting on Behalf of Israeli Democracy.

There has been a long-standing need for rebalancing the overwhelming power of the Supreme Court, and we are leading the campaign for public support for reform, our focus has been on the issues, and the need for reform. We have not been daunted by tactics of intimidation, and even calls for violence.

We have led conferences, a successful explanation campaign on social media that has amassed over 10 million views, hung billboards, given out banners, protested outside of the home of Ehud Barak who has been inciting a civil war within Israel, and many other activities to show support of the judicial reform.

We have also launched a "Did you Know?" campaign that has attracted a lot of attention. The campaign focuses on the current issues with the Israeli Supreme Court, and why judicial reform is needed. The campaign highlights how Israel's current supreme court system is not democratic and unlike all western countries across the world.

Reprehensively, our large banner overlooking the Ayalon Freeway in TA was vandalized. But we will not let vandalism nor intimidation stop us from informing our citizens why reform is overdue and must pass!

Thanks to our campaign against politicization in the Academy, Hebrew U has just banned professors from using its online platform to promote support for protests

In recent weeks, several lecturers at Hebrew University have chosen to use the Moodle platform - an educational platform designed to update students on educational issues only - in calls to go out and demonstrate against the government's judicial reform plan.

In response to  our campaign, the rector of the university informed the lecturers that the Moodle platform should no longer be used for "other purposes," but only for pedagogical content.

Students should not be forced to switch their political views upon entrance to university! We are going to continue to work on behalf of our students to recive a political safe zone within university.

We Spread Joy to Army Bases and Hospitals Across Israel on Purim

Our student activists went out to support children in hospitals all throughout the week to spread Purim joy. They handed out costumes and Mishlocach Manot.

In addition, our students also went to Chevron and Har Bracha to hand out Mishloach Manot. They gave Mishloach Manot merely hours before the soldiers in Har Bracha neutralized the Yaniv brothers.

Our Research Division Exposed how Our Supreme Court Gets Manipulated by Foreign Governments

Our report  showed that in the last six years, 758 petitions were submitted to the Supreme Court by 32 organizations funded by foreign political entities. This is an average of more than 126 petitions each year. The total funding from foreign political entities to these organizations in those years exceeded NIS 300 million ($82 million).

Of these, 468 petitions were submitted by NGOs with more than 50% of their funding coming from foreign entities, many of them governmental. It means that in 468 cases, foreign groups paid for Supreme Court appeals, and the decisions in favor of those appeals did not serve Israeli citizens, but foreign powers.

Alon Schwarzer, Head of Im Tirtu’s Research and Policy Department, noted: “Every citizen who cares about the democratic and Jewish identity of Israel should be worried about the blatant manipulation of the high court by wealthy foreign governments. The fact that every year organizations funded by foreign governments submit dozens of petitions to the High Court and succeed in influencing legislation and executive actions with their money is scandalous. This system is broken and must be fixed."

Prayer Request

Free to study all Jewish Scripture:

Our Prayer and hope: All the gates to the Har ha-Bait have to be opened for Jews and non-Jews seven days in the week 24 hours a day. The Jews need to have the freedom to go with Tefillin, Tallit and Torah Scroll up on the Mountain to serve Hashem. And do קידה ('Kidah' prostate, laying down, before Hashem) Everyone showing his/her respect for the Jewish and all other religions. But NOT for the words/deeds/sins spoken against any word of the Torah of Moshe Rabbeinu and the 'real' teachings of the Jewish Rabbis. The Jews must be the guardians of the Har ha-Bait.

Let's pray for a death sentence for the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, Hezbollah and for the continuation of the Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria. The Palestinian Authority, Hamas and Hezbollah must disappear. Enough of the hatred from the world (the USA, the European Union, and the UN!) against the Jewish people.

The Jews have the mission to change the Har HaBait, from her situation now, into a Prayer House for all peoples based on the Torah Law of Moshe Rabbeinu.

על היהודים מוטלת המשימה לשנות את הר הבית, ממצבו הקיים, לבית תפילה לכל העמים על פי חוק התורה של משה רבנו.
