Our Ability to Renew Creation
Good news! A maamar translation in the Lessons in Likutay Torah series is now available. It is a translation of the maamar from Likutei Torah in Parshas Nitzavim (discussing Rosh Hashanah) titled "כִּי קָרוֹב אֵלֶיךָ."

This maamar discusses a fundamental theme of Rosh Hashanah: The process of renewal of creation.
On Rosh Hashanah is when Hashem gives a new life for everything in all the words for the entire year. However, Hashem wants this renewal process to be dependant on our own inner renewal process.
We operate on two levels: On a concious, revealed level, that we function with all the time. We also have a deeper, subconcious level that operates beyond the limitations of day to day calculations and concerns. Our deeper connection to Hashem is how we feel that He is our entire life, and we don't desire anything in this world besides for Hashem Himself, and we would be willing to give up even our physcial life rather than sever our connection with Him, G-d forbid.
This level is not usually experineced by us on a revealed level. However, when it comes to Rosh Hashanah, we need to reveal that deeper connection to Hashem, and renew our awarness of our true connection to Him. By renewing ourselves spiritually in discovering our unlimited connection to Hashem, we 'make' Hashem want to renew the world, and reveal Himslef in the Torah on a new and deeper level.
This maamar is being sent out in honor of Parshas Nitzavim and Rosh Hashanah coming up next Monday night. Kesiva Vachasima Tova Leshana Tova Umesuka- May you be written and sealed in the Book of Life for a good and sweet New Year!
A special intention is that this is in the merit of the complete healing of all those needing a complete recovery from Hashem.
