וַיְהִי֩ כִשְׁמֹ֨עַ אֲדֹֽנִי־צֶ֜דֶק מֶ֣לֶךְ יְֽרוּשָׁלַ֗םִ כִּֽי־לָכַ֨ד יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ אֶת־הָעַי֘ וַיַּֽחֲרִימָהּ֒ כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשָֹ֚ה לִֽירִיחוֹ֙ וּלְמַלְכָּ֔הּ כֵּֽן־עָשָֹ֥ה לָעַ֖י וּלְמַלְכָּ֑הּ וְכִ֨י הִשְׁלִ֜ימוּ יֹֽשְׁבֵ֚י גִבְעוֹן֙ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיִּֽהְי֖וּ בְּקִרְבָּֽם:

And it came to pass, when Adonizedek, king of Jerusalem, heard that Joshua had taken Ai, and had completely destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so had he done to Ai and her king; and that the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them;

ב

וַיִּֽירְא֣וּ מְאֹ֔ד כִּ֣י עִ֚יר גְּדוֹלָה֙ גִּבְע֔וֹן כְּאַחַ֖ת עָרֵ֣י הַמַּמְלָכָ֑ה וְכִ֨י הִ֚יא גְדוֹלָה֙ מִן־הָעַ֔י וְכָל־אֲנָשֶׁ֖יהָ גִּבֹּרִֽים:

2

That they feared greatly, because Gibeon was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all her men were mighty.

ג

וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח אֲדֹֽנִי־צֶ֜דֶק מֶ֣לֶךְ יְרֽוּשָׁלַ֗םִ אֶל־הוֹהָ֖ם מֶֽלֶךְ־חֶבְר֑וֹן וְאֶל־פִּרְאָ֨ם מֶֽלֶךְ־יַרְמ֜וּת וְאֶל־יָפִ֧יעַ מֶֽלֶךְ־לָכִ֛ישׁ וְאֶל־דְּבִ֥יר מֶֽלֶךְ־עֶגְל֖וֹן לֵאמֹֽר:

And Adonizedek, king of Jerusalem, sent to Hoham, king of Hebron, and to Piram, king of Jarmuth, and Japhia, king of Lachish, and to Debir, king of Eglon, saying,

ד

עֲלֽוּ־אֵלַ֣י וְעִזְרֻ֔נִי וְנַכֶּ֖ה אֶת־גִּבְע֑וֹן כִּֽי־הִשְׁלִ֥ימָה אֶת־יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ וְאֶת־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל:

4

"Come up to me and help me, and we will smite Gibeon, for it has made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel."

ה

וַיֵּאָֽסְפ֨וּ וַֽיַּעֲל֜וּ חֲמֵ֣שֶׁת | מַלְכֵ֣י הָֽאֱמֹרִ֗י מֶ֨לֶךְ יְרֽוּשָׁלַ֜םִ מֶֽלֶךְ־חֶבְר֚וֹן מֶֽלֶךְ־יַרְמוּת֙ מֶֽלֶךְ־לָכִ֣ישׁ מֶֽלֶךְ־עֶגְל֔וֹן הֵ֖ם וְכָל־מַֽחֲנֵיהֶ֑ם וַֽיַּֽחֲנוּ֙ עַל־גִּבְע֔וֹן וַיִּֽלָּֽחֲמ֖וּ עָלֶֽיהָ:

And the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered together and went up, they and all their camps, and encamped on Gibeon, and made war against it.

And the men of Gibeon sent to Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, "Do not slack your hands from your servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us, for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us."

וַיַּ֨עַל יְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַ מִן־הַגִּלְגָּ֗ל ה֚וּא וְכָל־עַ֚ם הַמִּלְחָמָה֙ עִמּ֔וֹ וְכֹ֖ל גִּבּוֹרֵ֥י הֶחָֽיִל:

7

So Joshua ascended from Gilgal, he, and all the people of war with him, and all the mighty men of valor.

ח

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהֹוָ֚ה אֶל־יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ אַל־תִּירָ֣א מֵהֶ֔ם כִּ֥י בְיָֽדְךָ֖ נְתַתִּ֑ים לֹא־יַֽעֲמֹ֥ד אִ֛ישׁ מֵהֶ֖ם בְּפָנֶֽיךָ:

8

And the Lord said to Joshua, "Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you."

ט

וַיָּבֹ֧א אֲלֵיהֶ֛ם יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ פִּתְאֹ֑ם כָּל־הַלַּ֕יְלָה עָלָ֖ה מִן־הַגִּלְגָּֽל:

9

And Joshua came to them suddenly; he had gone up from Gilgal all night.

י

וַיְהֻמֵּ֚ם יְהֹוָה֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיַּכֵּ֥ם מַכָּֽה־גְדוֹלָ֖ה בְּגִבְע֑וֹן וַֽיִּרְדְּפֵ֗ם דֶּ֚רֶךְ מַֽעֲלֵ֣ה בֵֽית־חוֹרֹ֔ן וַיַּכֵּ֥ם עַד־עֲזֵקָ֖ה וְעַד־מַקֵּדָֽה:

10

And the Lord confused them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and they chased them by the way that goes up to Beth-horon, and smote them to Azekah, and to Makkedah.

י״א

וַיְהִ֞י בְּנֻסָ֣ם | מִפְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל הֵ֞ם בְּמוֹרַ֚ד בֵּית־חוֹרֹן֙ וַֽיהֹוָ֡ה הִשְׁלִ֣יךְ עֲלֵיהֶם֩ אֲבָנִ֨ים גְּדֹל֧וֹת מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם עַד־עֲזֵקָ֖ה וַיָּמֻ֑תוּ רַבִּ֗ים אֲשֶׁר־מֵ֙תוּ֙ בְּאַבְנֵ֣י הַבָּרָ֔ד מֵֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר הָֽרְג֛וּ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בֶּחָֽרֶב:

11

And it was as they fled from before Israel, and were in the descent of Beth-horon, that the Lord cast down great stones from heaven upon them to Azekah, and they died. There were more who died with the hailstones than whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.

אָ֣ז יְדַבֵּ֚ר יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה בְּיּ֗וֹם תֵּ֚ת יְהֹוָה֙ אֶת־הָ֣אֱמֹרִ֔י לִפְנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיֹּ֣אמֶר | לְעֵינֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל שֶׁ֚מֶשׁ בְּגִבְע֣וֹן דּ֔וֹם וְיָרֵ֖חַ בְּעֵ֥מֶק אַיָּלֽוֹן:

Then Joshua spoke to the Lord on the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, "Sun, stand still upon Gibeon, and Moon in the valley of Ajalon."

אָז יְדַבֵּר: אָמַר שִׁירָה תַּחַת הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ, לְפִי שֶׁאָמַר לַשֶּׁמֶשׁ דּוֹם, דּוֹם מִלּוֹמַר שִׁירָה, וְכָל זְמַן שֶׁהוּא דּוֹמֵם, עוֹמֵד וְאֵינוֹ מְהַלֵּךְ, שֶׁבְּכָל עֵת הִילּוּכוֹ הוּא אוֹמֵר שִׁירָה. וּפְשׁוּטוֹ שֶׁל מִקְרָא: דּוֹם לְשׁוֹן הַמְתָּנָה, כְּמוֹ (שמואל א יד ט): אִם כֹּה יֹאמְרוּ אֵלֵינוּ דֹּמּוּ, וְכֵן (תהלים לז ז): דֹּם לַה'.

Then Joshua spoke: He recited a song instead of the sun, since he bade the sun, “Be silent,” i.e., be silent [by refraining] from reciting [your] song. And as long as it is silent, it stands still and does not continue on its orbit, for all the time of its revolution it recites [its] song. The simple explanation of the verse is, however, (דּוֹם) is an expression of waiting, like: “if they say thus to us, ‘wait!’” (דּוֹמוּ), and so, “wait (דּוֹם) for the Lord.”

וְיָרֵחַ בְּעֵמֶק אַיָּלוֹן: אוֹתוֹ פַּעַם הָיָה הַיָּרֵחַ עוֹמֵד כְּנֶגֶד עֵמֶק אַיָּלוֹן, וְהוּא רָחוֹק מִגִּבְעוֹן, שֶׁהֲרֵי גִּבְעוֹן בִּגְבוּל בִּנְיָמִין וְאַיָּלוֹן בִּגְבוּל דָּן.

and moon in the valley of Ajalon: At that time, the moon was standing opposite the valley of Ajalon, which is far from Gibeon, for Gibeon is within the borders of Benjamin [in the south], and Ajalon is within the borders of Dan [in the north].

וַיִּדֹּ֨ם הַשֶּׁ֜מֶשׁ וְיָרֵ֣חַ עָמָ֗ד עַד־יִקֹּ֥ם גּוֹי֙ אֹֽיְבָ֔יו הֲלֹא־הִ֥יא כְתוּבָ֖ה עַל־סֵ֣פֶר הַיָּשָׁ֑ר וַיַּֽעֲמֹ֚ד הַשֶּׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ בַּֽחֲצִ֣י הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וְלֹא־אָ֥ץ לָב֖וֹא כְּי֥וֹם תָּמִֽים:

13

And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is this not written in the book of Jashar? (which is the Torah)? So the sun stood still in the midst of the heaven, and it did not hasten to go down exactly a whole day.

הֲלֹא הִיא כְתוּבָה: דָּבָר זֶה נִכְתַּב בַּתּוֹרָה, שֶׁאָמַר לוֹ יַעֲקֹב לְיוֹסֵף (בראשית מח יט): וְזַרְעוֹ (שֶׁל אֶפְרַיִם) יִהְיֶה מְלֹא הַגוֹיִם, אֵימָתַי, בְּיוֹם שֶׁעָמְדָה חַמָּה לִיהוֹשֻׁעַ, נִתְמַלֵּא כָּל הָעוֹלָם שִׁמְעוֹ שֶׁל יְהוֹשֻׁעַ, וַיַּעֲמֹד הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ בַּחֲצִי הַשָּׁמַיִם וְלֹא אָץ לָבֹא כְּיוֹם תָּמִים.

Is it not written [already] in the book of Jashar?: This matter is written in the Torah [i.e., the Pentateuch] that Jacob said to Joseph, “His seed [of Ephraim] will fill the nations.” When? On the day that the sun stood still for Joshua, the entire world was filled with Joshua’s fame, and the sun stood still in the midst of the heaven, and it did not hasten to go down exactly a whole day."

וְלֹ֨א הָיָ֜ה כַּיּ֚וֹם הַהוּא֙ לְפָנָ֣יו וְאַֽחֲרָ֔יו לִשְׁמֹ֥עַ יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּק֣וֹל אִ֑ישׁ כִּ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה נִלְחָ֖ם לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל:

14

And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened to the voice of a man, for the Lord fought for Israel.

וַיָּ֚שָׁב יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל עִמּ֔וֹ אֶל־הַֽמַּֽחֲנֶ֖ה הַגִּלְגָּֽלָה:

And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to the camp to Gilgal.

וַיָּנֻ֕סוּ חֲמֵ֖שֶׁת הַמְּלָכִ֣ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה וַיֵּחָֽבְא֥וּ בַמְּעָרָ֖ה בְּמַקֵּדָֽה:

And these five kings fled, and hid themselves in a cave at Makkedah.

י״ז

וַיֻּגַּ֖ד לִֽיהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ לֵאמֹ֑ר נִמְצְאוּ֙ חֲמֵ֣שֶׁת הַמְּלָכִ֔ים נֶחְבְּאִ֥ים בַּמְּעָרָ֖ה בְּמַקֵּדָֽה:

17

And Joshua was told, saying, The five kings have been found hidden in a cave at Makkedah.

י״ח

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ גֹּ֛לּוּ אֲבָנִ֥ים גְּדֹל֖וֹת אֶל־פִּ֣י הַמְּעָרָ֑ה וְהַפְקִ֧ידוּ עָלֶ֛יהָ אֲנָשִׁ֖ים לְשָׁמְרָֽם:

18

And Joshua said, "Roll great stones to the mouth of the cave, and appoint men by it to guard them.

גֹּלּוּ: גַּלְגְּלוּ אֲבָנִים אֶל פִּי הַמְּעָרָה.

Roll: Heb. גֹּלּוּ, “roll (גַּלְגְּלוּ) great stones onto the mouth of the cave.”

וְאַתֶּם֙ אַֽל־תַּֽעֲמֹ֔דוּ רִדְפוּ֙ אַֽחֲרֵ֣י אֹֽיְבֵיכֶ֔ם וְזִנַּבְתֶּ֖ם אוֹתָ֑ם אַֽל־תִּתְּנ֗וּם לָבוֹא֙ אֶל־עָ֣רֵיהֶ֔ם כִּ֧י נְתָנָ֛ם יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֖ם בְּיֶדְכֶֽם:

And don't you stay; pursue your enemies, and smite the hindmost of them. Do not let them enter their cities, for the Lord your God has delivered them into your hand."

וַיְהִי֩ כְּכַלּ֨וֹת יְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַ וּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לְהַכּוֹתָ֛ם מַכָּ֥ה גְדוֹלָֽה־מְאֹ֖ד עַד־תֻּמָּ֑ם וְהַשְּׂרִידִים֙ שָֽׂרְד֣וּ מֵהֶ֔ם וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ אֶל־עָרֵ֥י הַמִּבְצָֽר:

20

And it was when Joshua and the children of Israel had made an end of slaying them with a very great slaughter until they were consumed, that the rest which remained of them entered the fortified cities.

וַיָּשֻׁ֩בוּ֩ כָל־הָעָ֨ם אֶל־הַמַּֽחֲנֶ֧ה אֶל־יְהוֹשֻׁ֛עַ מַקֵּדָ֖ה בְּשָׁל֑וֹם לֹֽא־חָרַ֞ץ לִבְנֵ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל לְאִ֖ישׁ אֶת־לְשֹׁנֽוֹ:

21

And all the people returned to the camp to Joshua to Makkedah in peace; none whetted his tongue against any of the children of Israel.

Rashi

לֹא חָרַץ לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: הֲרֵי זֶה מִקְרָא קָצָר, לֹא חָרַץ הַחוֹרֵץ לְאִישׁ מִבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת לְשׁוֹנוֹ.

none whetted his tongue against any of the children of Israel: This is a short verse, [the subject being absent in the original, meaning] no whetter whetted his tongue to any of the children of Israel.

חָרַץ: לְשׁוֹן דִּבּוּר הַלָּשׁוֹן, וְכֵן (שמות יא ז): לֹא יֶחֱרַץ כֶּלֶב לְשׁוֹנוֹ, וְכֵן (שמואל ב ה כד): אָז תֶּחֱרָץ, דְּדָוִד תִּקְרָא, תִּצְעַק קוֹל תְּשׁוּאוֹת הַמִּלְחָמָה.

whetted: Heb. חָרַץ, an expression meaning speech of the tongue, and so: “no dog whetted (יֶחֱרָץ) its tongue.” And so: “Then shall you shout (תֶּחֱרָץ),” stated concerning David, “You shall call out, you shall shout a battle cry.”

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ פִּתְח֖וּ אֶת־פִּ֣י הַמְּעָרָ֑ה וְהוֹצִ֣יאוּ אֵלַ֗י אֶת־חֲמֵ֛שֶׁת הַמְּלָכִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה מִן־הַמְּעָרָֽה:

22

And Joshua said, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring out those five kings to me from the cave.

כ״ג

וַיַּ֣עֲשׂוּ כֵ֔ן וַיֹּצִ֣יאוּ אֵלָ֗יו אֶת־חֲמֵ֛שֶׁת הַמְּלָכִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה מִן־הַמְּעָרָ֑ה אֵ֣ת | מֶ֣לֶךְ יְרֽוּשָׁלַ֗םִ אֶת־מֶ֚לֶךְ חֶבְרוֹן֙ אֶת־מֶ֣לֶךְ יַרְמ֔וּת אֶת־מֶ֥לֶךְ לָכִ֖ישׁ אֶת־מֶ֥לֶךְ עֶגְלֽוֹן:

And they did so, and they brought forth those five kings to him from the cave; the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.

וַ֠יְהִ֠י כְּֽהֽוֹצִיאָ֞ם אֶת־הַמְּלָכִ֣ים הָאֵלֶּה֘ אֶל־יְהוֹשֻׁעַ֒ וַיִּקְרָ֨א יְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַ אֶל־כָּל־אִ֣ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וַ֠יֹּ֠אמֶר אֶל־קְצִינֵ֞י אַנְשֵׁ֚י הַמִּלְחָמָה֙ הֶהָֽלְכ֣וּא אִתּ֔וֹ קִרְב֗וּ שִֹ֚ימוּ אֶת־רַגְלֵיכֶ֔ם עַל־צַוְּארֵ֖י הַמְּלָכִ֣ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה וַֽיִּקְרְב֔וּ וַיָּשִֹ֥ימוּ אֶת־רַגְלֵיהֶ֖ם עַל־צַוְּארֵיהֶֽם:

24

And it was when they brought out those kings to Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said to the chiefs of the men of war that went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon their necks.

וַיֹּ֚אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם֙ יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ אַל־תִּֽירְא֖וּ וְאַל־תֵּחָ֑תּוּ חִזְק֣וּ וְאִמְצ֔וּ כִּ֣י כָ֗כָה יַֽעֲשֶֹ֚ה יְהֹוָה֙ לְכָל־אֹ֣יְבֵיכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתֶּ֖ם נִלְחָמִ֥ים אוֹתָֽם:

25

And Joshua said to them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage, for thus shall the Lord do to all your enemies against whom you fight.

כ״ו

וַיַּכֵּ֨ם יְהוֹשֻׁ֚עַ אַֽחֲרֵי־כֵן֙ וַיְמִיתֵ֔ם וַיִּתְלֵ֕ם עַ֖ל חֲמִשָּׁ֣ה עֵצִ֑ים וַיִּֽהְי֛וּ תְּלוּיִ֥ם עַל־הָעֵצִ֖ים עַד־הָעָֽרֶב:

26

And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on five poles; and they were hanging upon the poles until the evening.

כ״ז

וַיְהִ֞י לְעֵ֣ת | בּ֣וֹא הַשֶּׁ֗מֶשׁ צִוָּ֚ה יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ וַיֹּֽרִידוּם֙ מֵעַ֣ל הָֽעֵצִ֔ים וַיַּ֨שְׁלִכֻ֔ם אֶל־הַמְּעָרָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר נֶחְבְּאוּ־שָׁ֑ם וַיָּשִֹ֜מוּ אֲבָנִ֚ים גְּדֹלוֹת֙ עַל־פִּ֣י הַמְּעָרָ֔ה עַד־עֶ֖צֶם הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה:

27

And it was at the time of the setting of the sun, that Joshua commanded, and they took them down off the poles, and cast them into the cave wherein they had been hidden, and laid great stones on the mouth of the cave until this very day.

And on that day, Joshua took Makkedah and smote it with the edge of the sword, and its king he utterly destroyed, them and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain; and he did to the king of Makkedah as he had done to the king of Jericho.

And Joshua passed on from Makkedah, and all Israel with him, to Libnah; and he fought against Libnah.

And he took it and its king, and all the cities thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and completely destroyed all the souls that were in it; he left none remaining. As he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir and to its king, as he had done also to Libnah and to her king.

And Joshua smote all the country (of) the hills and of the south, and of the valley, and of the falls, and all their kings. He left none remaining, but destroyed every soul, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded.

and the falls: the place where the water of the hills pours down.

And Joshua smote them from Kadesh-barnea to Gaza, and all the land of Goshen to Gibeon.

מִקָּדֵשׁ בַּרְנֵע וְעַד עַזָּה: מִצַּד דְּרוֹמִית שֶׁל אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל הוּא, מִן הַמִּזְרָח לַמַּעֲרָב, וְלֹא הִסְפִּיק לִכְבּוֹשׁ כָּל הַמֶּצֶר וְנִשְׁאַר מֵעַזָּה עַד הַיָּם, הוּא שֶׁאָמַר לְּמַטָּה: זֹאת הָאָרֶץ הַנִּשְׁאֶרֶת הָעַזָּתִי וְהָאַשְׁדּוֹדִי וְגוֹ'.

from Kadesh-barnea to Gaza: This is from the south side of Eretz Israel from east to west. He was, however, unable to conquer the entire boundary, thus there remained from Gaza to the [Mediterranean] Sea. This is what the Scripture states below: “This is the land that yet remained… the Gazathites, and the Ashdodites, etc.”

And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel.

Everyone, with whatever background Christians, Muslims, Hindus etc. if they like the do Teshuva out of the feeling that they feel so much home with the Jews, to be with the Jews we invite to join us?

Bet Yisrael has 'no problem' if people study learns from the NT. As long they put away 'Avoda Zara' complete. Believe the most important person of the NT is a Tsaddik.

What Is a Tzaddik?

The Tzaddik HaDor

As the Zohar teaches us – everyone is against or afraid of the idea of there having to be a tzaddik. HaTzaddik, "THE" Tzaddik, HaDor - namely the Tzaddik of "THIS" generation. The Holy Zohar teaches (Zohar I, 28a): "Woe to the world for they do not provide help for the Shechina (Divine Presence) during the exile, or for Moshe (i.e. the Tzaddik), who is always with Her and never moves from Her… Moshe did not die. He is called Adam. Of Adam it is written (Bereishit 2:20), 'And Adam had no helpmate'. This applies to the last exile: Adam – the Tzaddik – has no helpmate. Everyone is against the Tzaddik".

May we all sincerely and wholeheartedly turn to Hashem in prayer and seek out, support and reveal the Shechina hidden within the exile along with Her helpmate 'HaTZaDDiK HaDoR' Amen.

Kol-HaTor The Voice of the Turtle Dove


Kol HaTor - קול התור or "The Voice of the Turtledove" (a reference to Song of Songs 2:12) was written by Rabbi Hillel Rivlin of Shklov, a disciple of the Vilna Gaon . The text deals with the Geulah (Era of Redemption) and describes its signs vis-a-vis an evaluation of a proposed 999 footsteps of the Moshiach’s arrival. The Vilna Gaon believed the number 999 to be intrinsically connected to the idea of Moshiach ben Yosef, he also felt that this number is alluded to in the gematria of his own name. It was first published in Hebrew by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kasher in 1968 to whom the book was passed down over the generations.

Five possessions did the Holy Blessed One, set aside as his own in this world, and these are they: The Torah, one possession; Heaven and earth, another possession; Abraham, another possession; Israel, another possession; The Temple, another possession. 1a) The Torah is one possession. From where do we know this? Since it is written, “The Lord possessed (usually translated as ‘created’) me at the beginning of his course, at the first of His works of old” (Proverbs 8:22). 2a) Heaven and earth, another possession. From where do we know this? Since it is said: “Thus said the Lord: The heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool; Where could you build a house for Me, What place could serve as My abode? (Isaiah 66:1) And it says: “How many are the things You have made, O Lord; You have made them all with wisdom; the earth is full of Your possessions” (Psalms 104:24). 3a) Abraham is another possession. From where do we know this? Since it is written: “He blessed him, saying, “Blessed by Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth” (Genesis 15:19). 4a) Israel is another possession. From where do we know this? Since it is written: “Till Your people cross over, O Lord, Till Your people whom You have possessed” (Exodus 15:16). And it says: “As to the holy and mighty ones that are in the land, my whole desire (possession) is in them” (Psalms 16:3). 5a) The Temple is another possession. From where do we know this? Since it is said: “The sanctuary, O lord, which your hands have established” (Exodus 15:17”, And it says: “And He brought them to His holy realm, to the mountain, which His right hand had possessed” (Psalms 78:54).

23So said the Lord of Hosts: In those days, when ten men of all the languages of the nations shall take hold of the skirt of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."

ten men: from the seventy nations. This equals seven hundred for each corner. For the four corners of the tallith there will be two thousand and eight hundred.

That may come in fulfillment in our days:

Our souls are bearing the ‘sparks’ (divine aspects) of Messiah.
It is forbidden to pray to bow down to any other (god), and/or messiah, and/or before any image or to lift up a human being as a god…… or to put any other (god), and/or messiah, and/or any image before or instead or between HaShem and us. ('It suf')
“The redemption will come about only through the study of the Torah. And the essential redemption depends upon the study of the Kabbalah” According to: R. ELIYAHU, THE VILNA GAON (Evven Shelemah (a ‘complete, without defect stone’) 11:3)
When Yehuda and Ephraim come to unity (again) Messiah Ben Joseph 'died' and Messiah Ben David shall be revealed and anointed by the Israeli people as the Messiah-King of Israel. As YeshaYahu is teaching:
Isa 11:9 – 16 They do no evil nor destroy in all My set-apart mountain, for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of Adonai as the waters cover the sea.
Rashi: knowledge of the Lord: [lit.] to know the Lord.
10 And on that day, there shall be a Root of Yishai, standing as a banner to the people. Unto Him the nations shall seek, and His rest shall be esteem.
Rashi: as a banner for peoples: that peoples should raise a banner to gather to him.
11 And it shall be in that day that Adonai sets His hand again a second time to recover the remnant of His people who are left, from Ashshur and from Mitsrayim, from Pathros and from Kush, from Ěylam and from Shin‛ar, from Ḥamath and from the islands of the sea.
Rashi: a second time: Just as he acquired them from Egypt, when their redemption was absolute, without subjugation, but the redemption preceding the building of the Second Temple is not counted, since they were subjugated to Cyrus.
and from the islands of the sea: the islands of the Kittim, the Romans, the descendants of Esau.
And he shall raise a banner: Perka, perche in O.F. [i.e., the verse is literally referring to the pole upon which the banner is attached.] And it shall be for a sign to gather to him and to bring the exiles of Israel to Him as a present.
12 And He shall raise a banner for the nations, and gather the outcasts of Yisra’ěl, and assemble the dispersed of Yehuḏa from the four corners of the earth.
13 And the envy of Ephrayim shall turn aside, and the adversaries of Yehuḏa be cut off. Ephrayim shall not envy Yehuḏa, and Yehuḏa not trouble Ephrayim.
Rashi: Ephraim shall not envy Judah: The Messiah, the son of David, and the Messiah, the son of Joseph, shall not envy each other.
14 But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west; together they plunder the people of the east, their hand stretching forth on Eḏom and Mo’aḇ, and the children of Ammon shall be subject to them.
Rashi: And they shall fly of one accord against the Philistines in the west: Heb. בְכָתֵף. Israel will fly and run of one accord against the Philistines who are in the west of Eretz Israel and conquer their land. [כָּתֵף, lit. a shoulder, is used in this case to denote unity. The word שֶׁכֶם, also lit. a shoulder, is used in a similar sense.] Comp. (Hoshea 6:9) “They murder on the way in unison (שֶׁכְמָה) ”; (Zeph. 3:9) “One accord (שְׁכֶם אֶחָד).” And so did Jonathan rendered it: And they shall join in one accord to smite the Philistines who are in the west.
and the children of Ammon shall obey them: As the Targum states: Will hearken to them. They will accept their commandments over them.
15 And Adonai shall put under the ban the tongue of the Sea of Mitsrayim, and He shall wave His hand over the River with the might of His Spirit, and shall strike it in the seven streams, and shall cause men to tread it in sandals.
Rashi: And… shall dry up: [lit. shall cut off] to dry it, so that the exiles of Israel will pass through it from Egypt.
over the river: The Euphrates River, for the exiles from Assyria to cross.
with the strength of His wind: Heb. בַּעְיָם. This is hapax legomenon in Scripture, and according to the context it can be interpreted as “with the strength of His wind.”
into seven streams: into seven segments, for the aforementioned seven exiles: from Assyria and from Egypt, etc. Those from the islands of the sea are not from that side.
and He shall lead: the exiles within it.
with shoes: on dry land.
16 And there shall be a highway for the remnant of His people, those left from Ashshur, as it was for Yisra’ěl in the day when he came up from the land of Mitsrayim.
Rashi: And there shall be a highway: in the midst of the water for the remnant of His people.

**AMIT HALEVI'S PLAN WOULD GIVE MUSLIMS CONTROL OF THE SOUTHERN END OF THE TEMPLE MOUNT COMPLEX, WHICH CONTAINS THE AL-AQSA MOSQUE, WHILE JEWS WOULD RECEIVE THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN AREAS.

A Likud lawmaker is proposing a plan to divide Jerusalem’s Temple Mount between Muslims and Jews and to remove Jordan’s custodial status over the holy site.
Speaking to the Zman Yisrael Hebrew news site, Knesset member Amit Halevi outlined a plan whereby Muslims would control the southern end of the 37-acre complex which contains the Al-Aqsa mosque, while Jews would receive the central and northern area, where the Dome of the Rock sits.
According to Halevi, the reorganization makes sense from a religious point of view because that part of the Temple Mount is the holiest site in Judaism, where it is believed the First and Second Temples stood. The Foundation Stone at the center of the Dome of the Rock is where Jewish sources place the Holy of Holies.
“This is the place of the First Temple and the place of the Second Temple built by Babylonian immigrants. No one needs to examine the stones to know that it is ours,” he said.
Halevi also wants to end Israel’s agreement with the Jordanian Waqf whereby the Islamic trust controls and manages Islamic edifices on the Temple Mount.
“Why not give them status in the Dizengoff Center [a large shopping mall in Tel Aviv] as well? This is a terrible mistake. This status should be abolished. I know it’s an agreement between countries, but we have to deal with it. It requires change, even if the process will take time,” he said.
In addition, Halevi wants to give Jews the same access to the Temple Mount enjoyed by Muslims. Currently, the Waqf only allows Jews and non-Muslim tourists access to the Temple Mount via the Maghrebi Gate and only at certain hours when the gate is open.
“We will take the northern end and pray there. The entire mountain is sacred to us, and the Dome of the Rock is the place on which the Temple stood. This should be our guideline,” he said. “Israel is leading. It will be a historical, religious and national statement. If this does not happen then you are not actually the owner of the house. You are a klutz. Why are you even going in there?”
