Biblical Hebrew, at least we read and understand in four different ways but still the four together as one way of understanding. What is in fact a way of thinking.
In the Greek and Latin languages, we think only in one way.
In other words, a Greek or Latin translation of the Hebrew Torah gives us a little understanding but most of the time we miss a real understanding.

PaRDeS reading comes the closest in understanding.
The term, sometimes also rendered PaRDeS, is an acronym formed from the initials of the following four approaches:

Peshat (פְּשָׁט‎) – "surface" ("straight") or the literal (direct) meaning.[2]

Remez (רֶמֶז‎) – "hints" or the deep (allegoric: hidden or symbolic) meaning beyond just the literal sense. In the version of the New Zohar, Re'iah.

Derash (דְּרַשׁ‎) – from Hebrew darash: "inquire" ("seek") – the comparative (midshipman) meaning, as given through similar occurrences.

Sod (סוֹד‎) (pronounced with a long O as in 'lore') – "secret" ("mystery") or the esoteric/mystical meaning, as given through inspiration or revelation.

Each type of PaRDeS interpretation examines the extended meaning of a text. As a general rule, the extended meaning never contradicts the base meaning.[3] The Peshat means the plain or contextual meaning of the text. Remez is the allegorical meaning. Derash includes the metaphorical meaning, and Sod represents the hidden meaning. There is often considerable overlap, for example when legal understandings of a verse are influenced by mystical interpretations or when a "hint" is determined by comparing a word with other instances of the same word.

With the Mishnash, Gemara, Talmud and other literature of the Jewish religion, what we try to call the 'Oral-Law' is it more 'difficult' because it is a collection of the Wisdom we received when we read or heard, as a people, for the first time. On the moment:

Exo 24:7 And he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that Adonai has spoken we shall do, and obey.”

When we heard for the first time all the Words of the Book of the Covenant. We were thinking as Hebrews in the same language as the Words of the Book of the Covenant. The Wisdom of the Book of the Covenant we understand so we said immediately: “All that
Adonai has spoken we shall do, and obey.”

But today, most of Ephraim, don't think as Hebrews and we are not thinking in the same language as the Words of the Book of the Covenant......

Some Ephraimites have their 'knowledge' of the Torah only based on an translated 'Bible'..... Because for thousands of years you are driven away from everything what is Hebrew. So, there is no Hebrew thinking.......

It is possible to come back..... To Eretz Israel. And to the Hebrew Torah. To learn again: to think and understand as a Hebrew. You don't have to become Jewish. But everyone can develop their own Ephraim Identity. With your own cultural development, activity. But based on the Torah given to Moshe Rabbeinu for all Israel not only the Jews. Everyone can learn Torah. You don't need a university level........ But choose, choose again......?

Exo 24:7 And he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that Adonai has spoken we shall do, and obey.”

Come Ephrayim let we do it together, in Israel on the Har HaBait?


Hos 5:3-15 “I have known Ephrayim, and Yisra’ěl has not been hidden from Me. For now, O Ephrayim, you have whored, Yisra’ěl is defiled. 

4 “Their deeds do not allow them to turn back to their Elohim, for the spirit of whorings is among them, and they do not know Adonai

5 “And the Excellency of Yisra’ěl shall witness to his face, and Yisra’ěl and Ephrayim stumble in their crookedness. Yehuḏah shall also stumble with them. 

6 “With their flocks and herds they go to seek Adonai, but do not find Him – He has withdrawn from them. 

7 “They have acted treacherously against Adonai, for they have brought forth strange children. Now a new moon shall devour them with their portions. 

8 “Blow a shophar in Gib‛ah, the trumpet in Ramah! Shout, O Běyth Awen! Behind you, O Binyamin! 

9 “Ephrayim is laid waste in the day of rebuke. Among the tribes of Yisra’ěl I shall make known what is certain. 

10 “The chiefs of Yehuḏah shall be like those who remove a border – on them I pour out my wrath like water. 

11 “Ephrayim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, because he walked after the command when it pleased him. 

12 “So I am to Ephrayim like a moth, and to the house of Yehuḏah like rottenness. 

13 “When Ephrayim saw his sickness, and Yehuḏah saw his wound, then Ephrayim went to Ashshur and sent to Sovereign Yarěḇ. But he is unable to heal you, or to remove the wound from you. 

14 “For I am like a lion to Ephrayim, and like a young lion to the house of Yehuḏah. I Myself tear them and go, I take them away, and there is no one to deliver. 

15 “I shall go, I shall return to My place, until they confess their guilt and seek My face, in their distress diligently search for Me, and say

Hos 6:1-11 ‘Come, and let us turn back to Adonai. For He has torn but He does heal us, He has stricken but He binds us up. 

2 After two days He shall revive us, on the third day He shall raise us up, so that we live before Him. 

3 So let us know, let us pursue to know Adonai. His going forth is as certain as the morning. And He comes to us like the rain, like the latter rain watering the earth.’ 

4 “Ephrayim, what would I do with you? Yehuḏah, what would I do with you? For your loving-commitment is like a morning cloud, and like the early dew it goes away. 

5 “Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets, I have killed them by the words of My mouth. And my right-rulings break forth as the light. 

6 “For I delight in loving-commitment and not slaughtering, and in the knowledge of Elohim more than ascending offerings. 

7 “But like Aḏam they transgressed the covenant. There they acted treacherously against Me. 

8 “Gil‛aḏ is a city of workers of wickedness – tracked up with blood. 

9 “And as bands of robbers lie in wait for a man, so the company of priests murder on the way to Sheḵem, for they have done wickedness. 

10 “I have seen a horrible matter in the house of Yisra’ěl: the whoring of Ephrayim is there, Yisra’ěl is defiled. 

11 “Also, a harvest is appointed for you, O Yehuḏah, when I turn back the captivity of My people. 

Hos 14:1-9 O Yisra’ěl, return to Adonai your Elohim, for you have stumbled by your crookedness. 

2 Take words with you, and return to Adonai. Say to Him, “Take away all crookedness, and accept what is good, and we render the bulls of our lips.

3 “Ashshur does not save us. We do not ride on horses, nor ever again do we say to the work of our hands, ‘Our mighty ones.’ For the fatherless finds compassion in You.” 

4 “I shall heal their backsliding, I shall love them spontaneously, for My displeasure has turned away from him. 

5 “I shall be like the dew to Yisra’ěl. He shall blossom like the lily, and strike out his roots like Leḇanon. 

6 “His branches shall spread, and his splendour shall be like an olive tree, and his fragrance like Leḇanon. 

7 “Those who dwell under his shadow shall return. They shall revive like grain, and blossom like the vine, and become as fragrant as the wine of Leḇanon. 

8 “What more has Ephrayim to do with idols? It is I who answers and looks after him. I am like a green cypress tree; your fruit comes from Me.” 

9 Who is wise and understands these words, discerning and knows them? For the ways of Adonai are straight, and the righteous walk in them, but the transgressors stumble in them. 


My dear Ephrayim, let we Yehudah and Ephrayim, make the choice together: On the Har HaBait, but develop yourself outside the Modern State of Israel. Around the Jewish State of Israel as a defensive shield in Chesed to the Jewish State. HaShem is teaching us promise us,

Jer 31:9-10 “With weeping they shall come, and with their prayers I bring them. I shall make them walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they do not stumble. For I shall be a Father to Yisra’ěl, and Ephrayim – he is My first-born.

10 “Hear the word of Adonai, O nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, ‘He who scattered Yisra’ěl gathers him, and shall guard him as a shepherd his flock.’

You can good learn to read Torah but read it in two languages. For many is the start Hebrew-English. It is also good to learn modern Hebrew like another language. But it is NOT the language of the Torah. It is coming from the Torah.

First you have to become used on reading the written Torah and Tanach. And learn slowly to read without a translation...... Then you start with Mishna, Gemara, Midrash...... You read in two languages until the 'meaning' of every word becomes 'clear' to you. There are separate grammar courses for Tanach and Talmud. But you should start grammar after you read fluently.

So you come back to Hebrew thinking, understanding. And based on your Hebrew understanding. Shall come in fulfilment what the rebbe is teaching.......:

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher (Chabad) Rabbi, made the following observations:

'on the action of Judah (Genesis: VaYigash). Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson was considered inspired by his followers and by many others. The relevant verse says:

[GENESIS 44:18] THEN JUDAH CAME NEAR UNTO HIM, AND SAID, OH MY LORD, LET THY SERVANT, I PRAY THEE, SPEAK A WORD IN MY LORD’S EARS, AND LET NOT THINE ANGER BURN AGAINST THY SERVANT: FOR THOU ART EVEN AS PHARAOH.

Commentary: On the verse: “FOR THOU ART EVEN AS PHARAOH”: Rabbi Schneerson quotes the source saying that Judah meant to say that Joseph is as powerful as Pharaoh and that Judah acknowledges his authority. Judah acknowledged the authority of Joseph. Because of this Judah merited the Promise in Ezekiel 37, “MY SERVANT DAVID SHALL BE THEIR PRINCE FOR EVER”. The Rabbi says that in order for Judah to bring on the Messiah, to help the Messiah come, and realize the promise given to his seed (“MY SERVANT DAVID SHALL BE THEIR PRINCE FOR EVER;

Judah must first do as the Patriarch Judah did when he CAME NEAR UNTO Joseph, and he acknowledged the authority of Joseph and initially was influenced from Joseph.'

Let we speak of levels in reading the Torah. And let we learn from one level to the other?

Level one:

When we are used in it: reading it very quickly every day the whole year and on Simcha Torah we start over again with Bereshith. 
Onkelos Targum reading very quickly in Hebrew-English near the weekly parsha.


Level two:

Near the weekly parsha with the haftorah both with Rashi in two languages: Hebrew-English, 
Onkelos Targum reading very quickly in Hebrew-English near the weekly parsha, a chapter of Nach beginning with Joshua until the end of II Chronicles without Tehillim and start after the 'end' with Joshua again, reading it very quickly every day. 


Level three:

Near the weekly parsha with the haftorah both with RashiOnkelos Targum reading very quickly in Hebrew-English near the weekly parsha, a chapter of Nach beginning with Joshua until the end of II Chronicles without Tehillim and start after the 'end' with Joshua again, Mishnah starting with Seder Zeraim (Agriculture) Berakhot until the end Seder Tahorot (Purity) Oktzin and start after the end with Seder Zeraim (Agriculture) Berakhot, reading it very quickly every day.

While it is an 'obligation' to learn not everyone need to reach Level six. Depending on your 
possibilities and personal desire. But on the end of your daily study, you need to read a Siman of the Kitsur Shulchan Aruch every day a Siman, from the beginning until the end, after the 'end' starting with the beginning again.

The daily reading is a cycle 
repeating until we 'know' all....... Learning to think as an Israelite, then we shall come to the fulfillment of the Mitzvoth of the Korbanot. Do the Temple Service under, the coming, Messiah King Ben David.

Warning: Never read the Zohar without the complete knowledge of the Torah from the level's one to six. Without the knowledge from the levels one to six we come only to a mis understanding. What can lead to Avoda Zara......

And I like that you come to real study of the NT scriptures. What do I mean with that? 

That you first study Torah from level one to level seven very well. At least three circles, you went three times through all levels. And you have a high education of Hebrew, Aramaic and koine Greek grammar. Plus, the text of the NT needs to be 'clean' from all form of interpretation influenced by Avoda Zara!

On a daily base it has to be read all together.

If you make the choice: Exo 24:7 And he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. In the language HaShem gave us the Torah.

HaShem shall 'reveal' in us, to each other of all Israel, His Chesed, the base of His creation our part in it, and we have to let it 'stream' to and from the Jewish people......... Until,

and from the islands of the sea: the islands of the Kittim, the Romans, the descendants of Esau. ומאיי הים: הן איי כתים יונים:
12And He shall raise a banner to the nations, and He shall gather the lost of Israel, and the scattered ones of Judah He shall gather from the four corners of the earth. יבוְנָשָֹ֤א נֵס֙ לַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְאָסַ֖ף נִדְחֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וּנְפֻצ֚וֹת יְהוּדָה֙ יְקַבֵּ֔ץ מֵֽאַרְבַּ֖ע כַּנְפ֥וֹת הָאָֽרֶץ:
And he shall raise a banner: Perka, perche in O.F. [i.e., the verse is literally referring to the pole upon which the banner is attached.] And it shall be for a sign to gather to him and to bring the exiles of Israel to Him as a present. נשא נס: פירקא בלע"ז והיה לאות לקבוץ אליו ולהביא את גליות ישראל מנחה לו:
13And the envy of Ephraim shall cease, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, nor shall Judah vex Ephraim. יגוְסָ֙רָה֙ קִנְאַ֣ת אֶפְרַ֔יִם וְצֹֽרְרֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה יִכָּרֵ֑תוּ אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ לֹֽא־יְקַנֵּ֣א אֶת־יְהוּדָ֔ה וִֽיהוּדָ֖ה לֹֽא־יָצֹ֥ר אֶת־אֶפְרָֽיִם:
Ephraim shall not envy Judah: The Messiah, the son of David, and the Messiah, the son of Joseph, shall not envy each other. אפרים לא יקנא את יהודה: משיח בן יוסף ומשיח בן דוד לא יקנאו זה בזה:
14And they shall fly of one accord against the Philistines in the west, together they shall plunder the children of the East; upon Edom and Moab shall they stretch forth their hand, and the children of Ammon shall obey them. ידוְעָפ֨וּ בְכָתֵ֚ף פְּלִשְׁתִּים֙ יָ֔מָּה יַחְדָּ֖ו יָבֹ֣זּוּ אֶת־בְּנֵי־קֶ֑דֶם אֱד֚וֹם וּמוֹאָב֙ מִשְׁל֣וֹחַ יָדָ֔ם וּבְנֵ֥י עַמּ֖וֹן מִשְׁמַעְתָּֽם:
And they shall fly of one accord against the Philistines in the west: Heb. בְכָתֵף. Israel will fly and run of one accord against the Philistines who are in the west of Eretz Israel and conquer their land. [כָּתֵף, lit. a shoulder, is used in this case to denote unity. The word שֶׁכֶם, also lit. a shoulder, is used in a similar sense.] Comp. (Hoshea 6:9) “They murder on the way in unison (שֶׁכְמָה);” (Zeph. 3:9) “One accord (שְׁכֶם אֶחָד).” And so did Jonathan render it: And they shall join in one accord to smite the Philistines who are in the west. ועפו בכתף פלשתים ימה: יעופו וירוצו ישראל שכם אחד על הפלשתים אשר הם במערבה של ארץ ישראל ויכבש את ארצם כמו דרך ירצחו שכמה (הושע ו׳:ט׳) שכם אחד (צפניה ג) וכן ת"י ויתחברון כתף חד למימחי פלישתאי די במערבא:
and the children of Ammon shall obey them: As the Targum states: Will hearken to them. They will accept their commandments over them. ובני עמון משמעתם: כתרגומו ישתמעון להון, מקבלין מצותם עליהם:
15And the Lord shall dry up the tongue of the Egyptian Sea, and He shall lift His hand over the river with the strength of His wind, and He shall beat it into seven streams, and He shall lead [the exiles] with shoes. טווְהֶֽחֱרִ֣ים יְהֹוָ֗ה אֵת לְשׁ֣וֹן יָם־מִצְרַ֔יִם וְהֵנִ֥יף יָד֛וֹ עַל־הַנָּהָ֖ר בַּעְיָ֣ם רוּח֑וֹ וְהִכָּ֙הוּ֙ לְשִׁבְעָ֣ה נְחָלִ֔ים וְהִדְרִ֖יךְ בַּנְּעָלִֽים:
And… shall dry up: [lit. shall cut off] to dry it, so that the exiles of Israel will pass through it from Egypt. והחרים: ליבשו כדי שיעברו בו גליות ישראל ממצרים:
over the river: The Euphrates River, for the exiles from Assyria to cross. על הנהר: נהר פרת לעבור בו גליות אשור:
with the strength of His wind: Heb. בַּעְיָם. This is hapax legomenon in Scripture, and according to the context it can be interpreted as “with the strength of His wind.” בעים רוחו: אין לו דמיון במקרא ולפי הענין יפתר בחוזק רוחו:
into seven streams: into seven segments, for the aforementioned seven exiles: from Assyria and from Egypt, etc. Those from the islands of the sea are not from that side. לשבעה נחלים: לשבע גזרים לעבור בו שבע גליות האמורות למעלה מאשור וממצרים וגו', ומאיי הים אינו מאותו צד:
and He shall lead: the exiles within it. והדריך: בתוכו את הגליות:
with shoes: on dry land. בנעלים: ביבשה:
16And there shall be a highway for the remnant of His people who remain from Assyria, as there was for Israel on the day they went up from the land of Egypt. טזוְהָֽיְתָ֣ה מְסִלָּ֔ה לִשְׁאָ֣ר עַמּ֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִשָּׁאֵ֖ר מֵֽאַשּׁ֑וּר כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֚ר הָֽיְתָה֙ לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּי֥וֹם עֲלֹת֖וֹ מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם:
And there shall be a highway: in the midst of the water for the remnant of His people. והיתה מסילה: בתוך המים לשאר עמו:
