Michah (Micah) - Chapter 4:2

2And many nations shall go, and they shall say, "Come, let us go up to the Lord's mount and to the house of the God of Jacob, and let Him teach us of His ways, and we will go in His paths," for out of Zion shall the Torah come forth, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Submission to the Head Council of Ephraim

When we speak about the “Head Council of the House of Ephraim,” we are referring to a council whose deepest desire is to come fully under the authority and guidance of a recognized Orthodox Jewish Beit Din or Sanhedrin. In all matters—especially those concerning Halachic decisions related to the Jewish people, Am Yisrael—the Head Council seeks to act with humility, submission, and respect toward the established Torah authority of Israel.

Amen. Selah.

The Tefilah l’Shalom Medinat Yisra’el (“Prayer for the Welfare of the State of Israel”) was composed by Rabbi Yitsḥak haLevi Hertzog (1888-1959), edited by Shmuel Yosef (S.Y.) Agnon (1888-1970), and first published in the newspaper Ha-Tsofeh on 20 September 1948.

This prayer was instituted at the time by the Chief Rabbis of Israel, Rabbi Hertzog and Rabbi Ben Tsiyon Meir Ḥai Uziel. According to the custom of the Ashkenazic communities, the time for reciting the prayer was set between the end of the Torah reading and the haftara for the return of the Torah scroll to its place in the Holy Ark. In Sephardic communities, it is customary to recite the prayer at the time of the removal of the Torah scroll from the Holy Ark. (At this point in prayer, it was customary the prayer “Hanoten Tshuah”, blessing the ruler of the state and their immediate family.)

Because the State of Israel is referred to as “the beginning of the sprouting/growth of our redemption,” the prayer was not universally accepted. This expression, and the reservations about the state in general, are some of the reasons why non-Zionist and anti-Zionist Jews do not recite it in their synagogues. In fact, the recitation of this prayer and, to a lesser extent, the prayer for the safety of IDF soldiers, became one of the main differences between prayer in Ḥaredi synagogues and prayers in National Religious Zionist synagogues in Israel and in the Diaspora.

מי שברך לחיילי צה״ל | Mi sheBerakh for the Welfare of Israel Defense Forces Soldiers, by Rabbi Shlomo Goren (1956);

amended by Dr. Alex Sinclair (2012)

Every spot on which your foot treads shall be yours; your territory shall extend from the wilderness to the Lebanon and from the River—the Euphrates—to the Western Sea.
Instruct the Israelite people and say to them: When you enter the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as your portion, the land of Canaan with its various boundaries:
I will set your borders from the Sea of Reeds to the Sea of Philistia, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hands, and you will drive them out before you.
On that day GOD made a covenant with Abram: “To your offspring I assign this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates—
AND I WILL SET THY BORDER. This is what May he have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River unto the ends of the earth (Ps. 72:8) refers to. The River refers to the Euphrates.
ואת הארץ אשר תפול לכם וגו׳ THIS IS THE LAND THAT SHALL FALL TO YOU [FOR AN INHERITANCE] — Since many divine commandments have to be practised in the Land of Canaan and are not to be practised outside the Land, it (Scripture) feels compelled to describe the limiting lines of the boundaries of its sides all round, in order to tell you: from these boundaries and inward the divine commands have to be practised (cf. Gittin 8a).
EVERY PLACE WHEREON THE SOLE OF YOUR FOOT SHALL TREAD SHALL BE YOURS: FROM THE WILDERNESS etc. In the opinion of our Rabbis they constitute two assurances: [First,] that whatever place in the land of Shinar and the land of Assyria and elsewhere they want to conquer, shall be theirs; and that all the commandments are applicable there, because they all are [part of] the Land of Israel [as Scripture says], from the wilderness and Lebanon etc. even unto the Back Sea shall be your border, meaning that you are obligated to conquer it and to extirpate the peoples from it…
Every place where the sole of your foot shall tread will be yours, from the wilderness and the mountain; (among) your mountains shall be the house of the sanctuary, and from the great river, the River Phrat, unto the ocean sea, whose waters are (old as) the creation, on the western side shall be your limit.
Every spot on which your foot treads I give to you, as I promised Moses.
and Benjamin with [the inhabitants of] Gilead And the children of Manasseh, whose territory was the land of Gilead, shall spread beyond the borders of Eretz Israel on the east.
Thus said the Sovereign GOD: These shall be the boundaries of the land that you shall allot to the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph shall receive two portions, and you shall share the rest equally. As I swore to give it to your fathers, so shall this land fall to you as your heritage. These are the boundaries of the land:
As the northern limit: From the Great Sea by way of Hethlon, Lebo-hamath, Zedad, Berathah, Sibraim—which lies between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath—[down to] Hazer-hatticon, which is on the border of Hauran. …
Furthermore, all the lands mentioned in the Torah as belonging to the Rephaim are included in what G'd had promised to Abraham when He said "ואת הרפאים" in Genesis 15,20. The lands of Sichon and Og were also included in that promise for the Torah refers to them as "the land of the Emorite and the land of Og." It is also called the land of the Rephaim as the Rephaim were identical with the Chivi. When the Baraitha quoted in the Sifri (reference Deut…
When we keep these points in mind we can understand why the Torah writes יקרא when speaking of the lands of Sichon and Og, whereas when speaking of the lands of the Rephaim the Torah wrote יחשב. Seeing the whole Jewish people remembered that Sichon and Og had lived in those lands the expression יקרא, "is called" (3,13) was quite appropriate. On the other hand, when the Torah speaks of lands whom no one remembered as having been populated by the Rephaim of old…
באו ורשו את הארץ, "Enter and take possession of the land, etc." Why did the Torah have to repeat the words את הארץ, instead of merely saying אותה, "it?" The reason is that the land which had been mentioned previously was the land which used to belong to Sichon and Og which G'd had allocated to Reuven and Gad. Now that Moses gave instructions to take possession of the land he had to make plain that the land which G'd had sworn to the Patriarchs had not included the lands now inherited by Reuven and Gad…
“If it was exported, Rebbi Eliezer declares it obligated but Rebbi Aqiba declares it free.” They said, Rebbi Eliezer [is explained] from his quote, Rebbi Aqiba from his quote. Rebbi Eliezer from his quote; what is the reason of Rebbi Eliezer? (Num. 15:18) “From the Land’s bread,” wherever it may be. Rebbi Aqiba from his quote; What is the reason of Rebbi Aqiba? (Num…
כי לקחו מטה בני הראובני, for the tribe of Reuven had taken it according to the houses of their fathers, etc. This verse provides the reason why the previous verse spoke about the West Bank being shared out amongst only nine and a half tribes. Had it not been for the fact that the two and a half tribes had already staked out their claims G'd would have been able to enlarge the shares of each tribe beyond the boundaries mentioned in our chapter.
If one walks from Acco to Akhzib, to one’s right hand side and the East the road is pure regarding the land of Gentiles and is subject to tithes and the Sabbatical unless it was known to you to be exempt. To one’s left and the West, the road is impure regarding the land of Gentiles and is free from tithes and the Sabbatical unless it was known to you to be obligated, until one arrives at Akhzib; Rebbi Ismael ben Rebbi Yose said in his father’s name, as far as Lablab. What is the status of Acco itself? Rebbi Aḥa bar Jacob in the name of Rebbi Immi: From two actions of Rebbi we learn that Acco…
How does Rebbi Yose bar Ḥanina explain “In view of all this, we execute a contract and sign”? Since they accepted [the obligations] with good grace, the verse credits it to them as if they had accepted it voluntarily. How does Rebbi Eleazar explain “more than your forefathers?” He explains it for the future since Rebbi Ḥelbo, Simeon bar Abba said in the name of Rebbi Joḥanan: Your forefathers inherited the land of seven peoples, but you will in the future inherit the land of ten peoples. The three others are (Gen…
AND IF THE ETERNAL THY G-D ENLARGE THY BORDER. This section deals with a future event, and I have already mentioned it in the section [i.e., the Seder] of Behold, I set before you. For first he stated, When the Eternal thy G-d shall cut off the nations, whose land the Eternal giveth thee, the expression whose land the Eternal giveth thee referring to all the seven nations that He mentions everywhere. So also he speaks with reference to them, And the Eternal thy G-d will cast out those nations before thee; whereas for the wickedness of these nations…
And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbith, and pass on to the palms of the mountain of iron, and the going forth thereof shall be southward of Rekem Giah, and shall go onward to the tower of Adar, and pass over to Kesam.

What Happened on October 7, 2023 – Israel Hamas Attack Explained

Warning: This site contains graphic and distressing content, viewer discretion is advised.

Since October 7, 2023, Simcha Torah, all of the Israeli People are changing.........

But also Europa is changing........ Europa is receiving the same enemy........ 'Free Palestine' the enemy!

'Free Palestine' people are in the world, also in Israel, most of the time 'left-wingers' (you have them also under the 'right-wing') who try to change 'The Truth'. And are the majority under the 'United Nations'...... Who made many things 'international law', based on lies. Hamas did on October 7, 2023 genocide. Fulfilling the 'dreams' of Palestine: Replacement of the Jews, by raping resulting in murder, genocide! What existed from the time the Jews liked to 'run' back to Israel from before 1948 until October 7, 2023! October 7, 2023 the start from the Jews to really defend themselves without genocide! When the Jews try to survive, defend themselves, they judge the Jew of genocide. The UN is following them, also Europa (majority). Their biggest lie is: Palestine! Their two 'state solution' start in Judea and Samaria...... The Heart-Land of Israel! Palestine NEVER existed! Now, the Jew, starting to make victory over 'Free Palestine'. The terror from Palestine is fleeting away from ERETZ YISRAEL area's and is starting to come up 'massaal' in Europa........

Genesis 12:3:

"And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse, and all the families of the earth shall be blessed in you." (Genesis 12:3)

Amalek was the first nation to attack the Israelites in the desert, attacking them from behind so as to target the weak and weary stragglers. As a result of this, paradoxically, the Torah commands the Israelites simultaneously to remember what they did and to blot out even the memory of them.

When they chanced upon you on the way: Meaning to say that they prepared themselves to fight with you on the way, when you were there not [intending] a war, since you were tired and weary, and you also were not fearing God then, in such a way that individual providence should attach itself to you. So behold without the prayer of Moshe, Amalek would have already been victorious, as we explained there. And this was as a sign, that according to the [usual order of things], Amalek would have been victorious…
Remember what Amalek did to you on your journey, after you left Egypt— how, undeterred by fear of God, he surprised you on the march, when you were famished and weary, and cut down all the stragglers in your rear. Therefore, when the ETERNAL your God grants you safety from all your enemies around you, in the land that the ETERNAL your God is giving you as a hereditary portion, you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven. Do not forget!
Timna sought to convert. She came before Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and they did not accept her. She went and became a concubine of Eliphaz, son of Esau, and said, referring to herself: It is preferable that she will be a maidservant for this nation, and she will not be a noblewoman for another nation. Ultimately, Amalek, son of Eliphaz, emerged from her, and that tribe afflicted the Jewish people. What is the reason that the Jewish people were punished by suffering at the hand of Amalek? It is due to the fact that they should not have rejected her…
Incidental to the discussion of the required intent when sounding the shofar, the mishna cites the verse: “And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed” (Exodus 17:11). It may be asked: Did the hands of Moses make war when he raised them or break war when he lowered them? Rather, the verse comes to tell you that as long as the Jewish people turned their eyes upward and subjected their hearts to their Father in Heaven, they prevailed, but if not, they fell…
Remember what etc you were famished and weary, and cut down all the stragglers in your rear: he did not fear God. (Deut. 25:17-18) It seems, that it is not only for this that the seed of Israel is being commanded regarding the erasing of Amalek, which is from the seed of Esav. Rather, every person in Israel needs to erase the evil part that is concealed in one's heart, that is known by the name Amalek. This is because whenever the seed of Amalek is found in the world it is found in the human being, since the human is a small world, and therefore there is a reality to "Amalek"…
To remember what Amalek did to us: That we were commanded to remember what Amalek did to Israel — that he began to harass them when they left Egypt, before any other nation or kingdom raised their hand against them; and as the matter is stated, (Numbers 24:20) “Amalek is the first of nations.” Its [Aramaic] translation (Onkelos Numbers 24:20) is “The first battle of Israel was Amalek” — because everyone was afraid of them when they heard of God’s great hand that He used for them in Egypt. But the Amalekites, due to their evil hearts and evil disposition…
It is written concerning the time the wicked Amalek came to fight against Israel: And fought with Israel in Rephidim (Exod. 17:8). What is meant by refidim (Rephidim)? It means that rafu yadehem (“their hands become weak”) in the fulfillment of the law and the commandments. Observe that it is written: And the name of the place was called Massah and Meribah (ibid., v. 7). The Holy One, blessed be He, began to rebuke them, saying: How long will ye try Me; how long will ye strive against Me? And so Moses cried out: Why strive ye with me? Wherefore do ye try the…
Now it is true that in these times the extermination of an entire nation, men and women, nursling and suckling, is an act of cruelty to make the ears of all hearers ring — in spite of which, even in these days if there would arise a prophet whom all men believed to be a messenger of god and that prophet would command the people of a certain nation to rise up against the people of another city notorious for their wicked deeds and destroy them, women and children, there is no question in my mind that their hearts would not become corrupt because of this act that they performed at the behest of…
Saul destroyed Amalek from Havilah all the way to Shur, which is close to Egypt, and he captured King Agag of Amalek alive. He proscribed all the people, putting them to the sword; but Saul and the troops spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the second-born, the lambs, and all else that was of value. They would not proscribe them; they proscribed only what was cheap and worthless. The word of GOD then came to Samuel: “I regret that I made Saul king, for he has turned away from Me and has not carried out My commands…
King Ahasuerus elevated Haman: He was from the seed of Amalek, and he first gave the counsel to cancel the building of the Temple. So the Holy One, blessed be He, said, "I will elevate him, and they I will bring him down," to fulfil the verse (Proverbs 16:18), "Pride goes before ruin; arrogance, before failure."
The law of Amalek is fixed in the verse, "you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from beneath the sky; do not forget," and in other verses. The Torah isolated this commandment to Amalek, so it is not within our power to include another nation in [this] commandment, even though they have done more evil than it. It is true that I have seen it brought down in the name of the Gaon, Rabbi Chaim (Soloveitchik), may his memory be blessed, that the commandment of blotting out Amalek is not specifically about the nation of Amalek…
The Sages instituted the reading of Parashat Zakhor once a year in order to fulfill the Torah commandment to remember and not forget the evil deeds of Amalek. One is viewed as having forgotten about Amalek only if a year goes by without remembering it. Therefore, we discharge our obligation by mentioning the matter once a year. We read Parashat Zakhor on the Shabbat before Purim in order to juxtapose remembering Amalek to the destruction of his descendant Haman. According to Torah law, one must express this remembrance verbally…
Some time afterward, King Ahasuerus promoted Haman son of Hammedatha the Agagite; he advanced him and seated him higher than any of his fellow officials.
He saw Amalek and, taking up his theme, he said: A leading nation is Amalek; But its fate is to perish forever.
Another matter, “Yitro…heard,” that is what is written: “Strike the cynic, and the naïf will become clever” (Proverbs 19:25). Likewise, it says: “With the punishment of a cynic, the naïf becomes wise” (Proverbs 21:11). Amalek and Yitro were consulted by Pharaoh. When Yitro saw that the Holy One blessed be He eliminated Amalek from this world and from the World to Come, he reconsidered and repented, as it is written above: “For I will expunge the memory of Amalek” (Exodus 17:14) and afterward: “Yitro heard.” He said: ‘I must go only to the God of Israel…
“Thus said GOD of Hosts: I am exacting the penalty for what Amalek did to Israel, for the assault he made upon them on the road, on their way up from Egypt.
From the wilderness of Sin the whole Israelite community continued by stages as GOD would command. They encamped at Rephidim, and there was no water for the people to drink. The people quarreled with Moses. “Give us water to drink,” they said; and Moses replied to them, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you try GOD?” But the people thirsted there for water; and the people grumbled against Moses and said, “Why did you bring us up from Egypt, to kill us and our children and livestock with thirst?” …
The Gemara raises a question: But from where do we know that this remembrance that is stated with regard to Amalek and to the Megilla involves reading it out loud from a book? Perhaps it requires merely looking into the book, reading it silently. The Gemara answers: It should not enter your mind to say this, as it was taught in a baraita: The verse states: “Remember what Amalek did to you” (Deuteronomy 25:17). One might have thought that it suffices for one to remember this silently, in his heart…
The Gemara adds that some of Haman’s descendants studied Torah in Bnei Brak, and some of Sisera’s descendants taught children Torah in Jerusalem, and some of Sennacherib’s descendants taught Torah in public. Who are they? They are Shemaya and Avtalyon, the teachers of Hillel the Elder.
The Sages taught in a baraita: Naaman the Aramean (see II Kings, chapter 5) was a ger toshav, meaning that he accepted upon himself to refrain from idol worship but did not convert to Judaism. Nebuzaradan was a completely righteous convert. Among the descendants of Sisera (see Judges, chapter 4) were those who studied Torah in Jerusalem. Among the descendants of Sennacherib were those who taught Torah in public. The Gemara asks: And who are they? The Gemara answers: They were Shemaya and Avtalyon.…
The sons of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan’s sister was Timna.
The place was named Massah and Meribah, because the Israelites quarreled and because they tried GOD, saying, “Is GOD present among us or not?”
Indeed, all the officials of the provinces—the satraps, the governors, and the king’s stewards—showed deference to the Jews, because the fear of Mordecai had fallen upon them. For Mordecai was now powerful in the royal palace, and his fame was spreading through all the provinces; this man Mordecai was growing ever more powerful. So the Jews struck at their enemies with the sword, slaying and destroying; they wreaked their will upon their enemies. In the fortress Shushan the Jews killed a total of five hundred of them…
This is the line of Esau—that is, Edom. Esau took his wives from among the Canaanite women—Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah daughter of Anah daughter of Zibeon the Hivite— and also Basemath daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth.
Rav Yehuda said that Rav said: Had the Jewish people properly observed the first Shabbat that was commanded them, no nation or tongue would have ever ruled them, as it is stated: “And it happened on the seventh day, some people went out from the nation to collect and they did not find” (Exodus 16:27). And it is written after they went out to collect manna: “And Amalek came and fought with Israel in Refidim” (Exodus 17:8). Rabbi Yoḥanan said in the name of Rabbi Shimon ben Yoḥai: If only the Jewish people would keep two Shabbatot…
ואתה עיף ויגע AND THOU WAST FAINT AND WEARY — faint through thirst, for it is written, (Exodus 17:3) “And the people thirsted there for water” and it is written immediately afterwards (v. 8) “Then came Amalek”. ויגע AND WEARY — from the journey (Midrash Tanchuma, Ki Teitzei 10). ולא ירא AND HE FEARED NOT — Amalek feared not אלהים GOD so as to refrain from harming you (Sifrei Devarim 296:7).
Rabbi Sheila said: Since a miracle was performed on my behalf with this verse that I cited, I will interpret it homiletically: Yours, O Lord, is the greatness; that is the act of creation, and so it says: “Who does great things past finding out” (Job 9:10); And the power; that is the exodus from Egypt, as it is stated: “And Israel saw the great work which the Lord did to the Egyptians” (Exodus 14:31);And the glory; that is the sun and the moon that stood still for Joshua, as it is stated: “And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed…
VAYAR’ (AND HE SAW) AMALEK. “He contemplated the punishment of Amalek and he said, Amalek was the first of the nations — he was the first of them all to wage war against Israel. And so did Onkelos translate it. But his end will be to be destroyed by their hands, [as it is said], thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek.” This is Rashi’s language. It is possible that the word vayar is to be understood in its literal meaning [“and he saw,” and not, as Rashi explained it, “and he contemplated”], since Balaam was on the top of Peor…
ראשית גוים עמלק ואחריתו עדי אבד, "Amalek was the first of the nations, but its end will be utter destruction." The word "the first" refers to the first nation Israel has been commanded to destroy (compare Exodus 17,14) where G'd orders the Israelites to record this commandment in a book (before the Torah had been revealed at Mount Sinai) and where G'd promises to wipe out the memory of Amalek. This occurred shortly after the Exodus when Amalek attacked the Israelites in no-man's land without provocation. At that time, the Amalekites left the battlefield and went home…
And he looked on the house of Amalek, and took up the parable of his prophecy, and said: The first of the nations who made war with the house of Israel were those of the house of Amalek; and they at last, in the days of the King Meshiha, with all the children of the east, will make war against Israel; but all of them together will have eternal destruction in their end.
According to the plain meaning of the text the verse has G’d saying as an assurance to any future King of Israel that he is to fight a war on G’d’s behalf against Amalek. This war would be distinguished by the fact that any loot collected in such a war was out of bounds to any Israelite and would be exclusively G’d’s property. This is why Saul, King of Israel, was punished for allowing the people to retain part of the loot from his campaign against Amalek (compare Samuel I 16, 14-27)…
REMEMBER WHAT AMALEK DID UNTO THEE. I have already mentioned the Midrash which the Rabbis interpreted in the Sifra: “I might think that it means, ‘in your heart.’ But when Scripture states, thou shalt not forget, forgetfulness of heart is already stated. How then can I fulfill the injunction Remember? It must mean ‘by verbal utterance.’” It is also stated in the Sifre, “Remember what Amalek did unto thee means verbal [remembrance]. Thou shalt not forget means [remembrance] in the heart.”But I know not what is this remembrance through the spoken word…
(Deut. 25:19:) “And it shall come to pass when the Lord your God grants you rest [… you shall blot out the remembrance of Amalek].” R. Azariah and R. Judah bar Simon said in the name of R. Judah bar Il'ay, “Israel was given three commandments on their entrance to the land: To appoint a king over themselves, as written (in Deut. 17:15), ‘You shall surely place a king over yourself.’ To build the Temple, as written (in Exod. 25:8), ‘And make Me a sanctuary.’ To cut off the seed of Amalek, as stated (in Deut. 25:19), ‘[…] you shall blot out the remembrance of Amalek.’” R…
“The entire congregation saw that Aaron had perished, and they wept for Aaron thirty days, the entire house of Israel” (Numbers 20:29). “The entire congregation saw that Aaron had perished” – when Moses and Elazar descended from the mountain, the entire assembly gathered around them and said to them: ‘Where is Aaron?’ They said to them: ‘He died.’ They said: ‘How could the angel of death harm him, a person who stood against the angel of death and stopped him, as it is stated: “He stood between the dead and the living [and the plague was checked]” (Numbers 17:13)? If you bring him…
Another matter, “Yitro…heard.” See how much goodness and blessing came to Yitro from the time that he became associated through marriage with Moses. What is written? “Aaron and all the elders of Israel came” (Exodus 18:12). Likewise, you find that when Bilam came to curse Israel, not only did he not curse them, but he blessed them. Moreover, when he saw Amalek, he began to curse it, as it is stated: “He looked at Amalek, and took up his parable, and said: Amalek was the first of the nations; but its end will be oblivion” (Numbers 24:20)…
R. Levi opened [his discourse] (with Ps. 9:6), “You have rebuked the nations; you have destroyed the wicked one”: “You have rebuked the nations.” This refers to Amalek, of which it is written (in Numb. 24:20), “First among the nations (to attack Israel) was Amalek.” (ibid., cont.:) “You have destroyed the wicked one.” This refers to Esau, of whom it is stated (in Mal. 1:4), “and they shall call them (i.e., Edom) a country of wickedness.” If someone says to you, “Jacob also is included [among the wicked one],” say to such a one…
If they do not agree to a peaceful settlement, or if they agree to a peaceful settlement, but refuse to accept the seven mitzvot, war should be waged against them. All males past majority should be killed. Their money and their children should be taken as spoil, but neither women or children should be killed, as Deuteronomy 20:14 states: 'But the women and the children... take as spoil." 'The children' refer to males below the age of majority. The above applies to a milchemet hareshut fought with other nations…
AND TIMNA WAS CONCUBINE TO ELIPHAZ ESAU’s SON. Because Scripture was not particular to tell us the names of the mothers of all the others, our Rabbis have interpreted that this was to tell us of the esteem in which Abraham our father was held, i.e., how eager people were to attach themselves to his descendants. This Timna was a descendant of chieftains, as it is said, And Lotan’s sister was Timna, [and Lotan was one of the chieftains of Se’ir]. She said to Eliphaz, “If I am unworthy to become your wife, would that I might become your concubine,” as Rashi has written…
AND MOSES SAID TO JOSHUA. It would appear from here that from the day he came before him, Moses called him Joshua, and so it is also written: And Joshua heard the noise of the people. Scripture which states in the case of the spies, And Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun, Joshua, must then be referring to the beginning, [when Joshua first came to minister before him]. The verse informs us that this Hoshea the son of Nun, who was chosen to be among the spies, is the same one that Moses called Joshua…
“Amalek came.” What is written prior to the matter? “The entire congregation of the children of Israel traveled…there was no water for the people to drink” (Exodus 17:1). For the people there was not, but for the flocks and the cattle there was. Immediately they came to engage in a dispute with Moses and said to him: “Why did you take us up out of Egypt [to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst]?” (Exodus 17:3). From here, Rabbi Yehoshua would say: The house collapsed; too bad about the windows –“I and my livestock with thirst” (Exodus 17:3)…
Manasseh said: But did Moses need to write only insignificant matters that teach nothing, for example: “And Lotan’s sister was Timna” (Genesis 36:22), or: “And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz, son of Esau” (Genesis 36:12), or: “And Reuben went in the days of the wheat harvest and found duda’im in the field” (Genesis 30:14)? A Divine Voice emerged and said to him: “You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son. These things you have done, and should I have kept silence, you would imagine that I was like you, but I will reprove you…
“The one who presented…” (Numbers 7:12), that is what is written: “A man’s pride will humble him, and the lowly spirit will attain honor” (Proverbs 29:23). Rabbi Tanḥuma bar Abba said: “A man's pride will humble him,” this is Adam the first man. How so? When he violated the command of the Holy One blessed be He and ate from the tree, the Holy One blessed be He sought to have him repent, and He provided him with an opening. Adam did not seek to do so. That is what is written: “The Lord God said: Behold, the man [has become as one of us, to know good and evil, and now…
The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna, and Amalek.
וישמע יתרו AND JETHRO HEARD — What was the particular report which he heard so that he came? — The division of the Red Sea and the war with Amalek (cf. (Mekhilta; Zevachim 116a).
וישמע הכנעני AND THE CANAANITE HEARD — He heard that Aaron had died and that the clouds of glory had disappeared and he believed that now he was at liberty to wage war against Israel, as it is related in Rosh Hashana 3a; Amalek was from olden times a whip for chastising Israel — always held in readiness to be God's agent for Israels punishment (Midrash Tanchuma, Chukat 18).
“Amalek dwells in the region of the south” (Numbers 13:29) – what did they see that led them to open with Amalek? It is analogous to a child who misbehaved and was struck with a strap. When they seek to scare him, they remind him of the strap with which he was struck. So, Amalek was an injurious strap for Israel. What did he see that led him to settle in the border region on the route of Israel’s entry into the Land? This is what his grandfather, Esau, commanded him, to encounter them on the way, so he uprooted from his place and settled on the route…
AND HIS KING SHALL BE HIGHER THAN AGAG. “Their first king [Saul] will conquer Agag king of the Amalekites. Agag is here called by his name before he was born. Similar cases are [the expressions]: to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden; Behold, a son shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name. So also were the names of Isaac, Ishmael, and Solomon [given before they were born]. AND HIS KINGDOM — that is, Jacob’s — SHALL BE EXALTED more and more, because David and his son Solomon will come after him [Saul].” This is Rashi’s language, and he has explained it well…
This, then, is the line of Esau, the ancestor of the Edomites, in the hill country of Seir. These are the names of Esau’s sons: Eliphaz, the son of Esau’s wife Adah; Reuel, the son of Esau’s wife Basemath. The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.
R. Levi declared: This situation may be compared to a child that is being carried on his father’s shoulders. When he sees something that excites him he calls out: “Father, take me there.” The father carries him to that place, and then to another and finally to a third place, yet the child, on seeing another man approaching them, asks: “Have you seen my father?” His father calls out: “You have been riding on my shoulders, and wherever you wished to go I carried you, yet now you ask ‘Have you seen my father?’” He then put him down. Whereupon a dog rushed at the child and bit him…
Know, a person must judge everyone favorably (Avot 1:6). Even someone who is completely wicked, it is necessary to search and find in him some modicum of good; that in that little bit he is not wicked. And by finding in him a modicum of good and judging him favorably, one genuinely elevates him to the scale of merit and can bring him to repent. This is the aspect of “In yet a little bit the wicked man is not; you will reflect upon his place and he will not be there” (Psalms 37:10). That is, Scripture warns to judge everyone favorably…
All the books of the Prophets and all the Holy Writings will be nullified in the Messianic era, with the exception of the Book of Esther. It will continue to exist, as will the five books of the Torah and the halachot of the Oral Law, which will never be nullified.Although all memories of the difficulties endured by our people will be nullified, as Isaiah 65:16 states: "For the former difficulties will be forgotten and for they will be hidden from My eye," the celebration of the days of Purim will not be nullified…
You must have completely honest weights and completely honest measures, if you are to endure long on the soil that the ETERNAL your God is giving you. For everyone who does those things, everyone who deals dishonestly, is abhorrent to the ETERNAL your God.
And so, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month—that is, the month of Adar—when the king’s command and decree were to be executed, the very day on which the enemies of the Jews had expected to get them in their power, the opposite happened, and the Jews got their enemies in their power. Throughout the provinces of King Ahasuerus, the Jews mustered in their cities to attack those who sought their hurt; and no one could withstand them, for the fear of them had fallen upon all the peoples.
Another matter: “When you will beget children” – this what the verse said: “The act of the righteous brings life; the yield of the wicked is sin” (Proverbs 10:16). “The act of the righteous brings life” – Rabbi Tanḥum said: This is Elifaz, who grew up on Isaac’s lap. “The yield of the wicked is sin” – this is Amalek, who grew up on Esau’s lap. Another matter: “The act of the righteous brings life” (Proverbs 10:16) – everything that David and Solomon his son did was to give life to Israel. What is “the yield of [tevuat] the wicked is sin” (Proverbs 10:16) – with one entry…
On that day Judah, an Ammonite convert, came and stood before them in the house of study. He said to them: Do I have the right to enter into the assembly? Rabban Gamaliel said to him: you are forbidden. Rabbi Joshua said to him: you are permitted. Rabban Gamaliel said to him: the verse says, "An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of the Lord: even to the tenth generation" (Deuteronomy 23:4). R. Joshua said to him: But are the Ammonites and Moabites still in their own territory? Sanheriv, the king of Assyria, has long since come up and mingled all the nations…
By the time David and his men arrived in Ziklag, on the third day, the Amalekites had made a raid into the Negeb and against Ziklag; they had stormed Ziklag and burned it down. They had taken the women in it captive, low-born and high-born alike; they did not kill any, but carried them off and went their way. When David and his men came to the town and found it burned down, and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive, David and the troops with him broke into tears, until they had no strength left for weeping.
There are those who say that the Portion of Remembrance and the Portion of the Red Heifer are Biblically obligated to be read. Therefore, residents of settlements which do not have a [prayer] quorum need to come to a place where there is a quorum on those Sabbaths, in order to hear these portions, which are Biblically [mandated]. Rema: If it is not possible for them to come, in any case they should take care to read them with their tune and cantillation (found written [in manuscripts]).

Please give? They are in need desired the do everything for to be recognized as 'one of us'!

Out of a deep love for the Lost Sheep of the House of Yisrael, I continue to pray and work from Tzion for the restoration, strengthening, and unity of those who sincerely desire to return to their ancestral roots and to the people of Israel. My own journey has been one of return. Born from an Anusim background, I have walked the path of teshuvah for more than forty years and, approximately thirty years ago, began living fully as an Orthodox Jew according to Jewish law, with formative steps taken in Eretz Yisrael. The words of Tehillim 87:6 have remained especially meaningful to me: “The Lord will count when He registers the peoples: ‘This one was born there.’” Rashi explains this verse as pointing toward a future time when those of Israel who became assimilated among the nations, including those who were compelled to abandon Judaism, will be recognized by HaShem and gathered from among the peoples. This vision has become deeply connected with my personal calling.

Today is that 'future time' where Rashi is speaking about. Today HaShem is answering them from out of Tzyion........

Who is 'calling' from Tzyion,

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) - Chapter 55

1Ho! All who thirst, go to water, and whoever has no money, go, buy and eat, and go, buy without money and without a price, wine and milk.

Ho! All who thirst. Heb. הוֹי. This word הוֹי is an expression of calling, inviting, and gathering, and there are many in Scripture, [e. g.,] (Zech. 2:10) “Ho! Ho! and flee from the north land.”

הוי כל צמא.  הוי זה ל' קריאה וזימון וקיבוץ הוא ויש הרבה במקרא (זכריה ב) הוי הוי ונוסו מארץ צפון:

go to water. to Torah.

לכו למים.  לתורה:

יין וחלב.  לקח טוב מיין וחלב:

Together with my dear friend Gaddi Efrayim in India, I have dedicated myself to reaching those among the Lost Tribes and Lost Sheep of the House of Israel who possess an intense desire to return, to unite with Yehudah and Am Yisrael, and to pursue that journey responsibly under recognized rabbinical authority. In 2014, Gaddi invited me to India, where I was introduced to communities and individuals who identify with the heritage of the Lost Tribes of Israel and who were seeking a meaningful path back toward Torah and the Jewish people. From this shared vision, Beit Yisrael International was established as an organization devoted to Torah education, spiritual guidance, community development, and the responsible strengthening of those seeking connection with Israel. Our desire is that every process involving Jewish status or conversion be approached properly, transparently, and in accordance with Halakhah and recognized rabbinical supervision.

At present, I am also engaged in efforts in Israel to explore appropriate pathways through which sincere candidates connected with Beit Yisrael International may complete the necessary stages of their Jewish journey in Israel under qualified and recognized rabbinical authority. Our prayer is to see those who genuinely seek Torah and identification with Am Yisrael guided with wisdom, dignity, patience, and respect for the established institutions of the Jewish people. We seek to build bridges of understanding and cooperation while remaining committed to Torah, Jewish authority, and the unity of Israel.
